Holy Name of Jesus School annual Spring Music Concert May 24, 2012 featured showcase performances of our students on piano, and guitar, performances by our band, our Praise Dancers, and our Rainbow Choir. Ambitious and accomplished selections ranging from Miles Davis to Beethoven, from Duke Ellington to Adele, were performed by students and directed by our music teachers, Mr. Otis Burnell, Albert “Poncho” Williams and Eddie Hilley. Our dancers were guided by teachers Simona Smith and Alicia Wright.
Father Paul Spellman opened the evening with prayer and Principal Marva Belisle thanked parents, families and community members. Holy Name of Jesus School music program was initiated in 2003 and has become one of our signature offerings.
