Classroom Aides
Assist teachers in the classroom with handouts, writing on the board, invigilating exams, etc. Parents will not be allowed to be a classroom aide in their children’s class. Shifts are 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM.
Cleaning
Dust and tidy our school office, copy room and school library each day.
Office Support
Answer telephones, assist visitors, sort mail and make deliveries to teachers. Volunteers usually commit two days per month. Shifts are 8:30 AM –11:30 AM or 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
Security
Monitor doors, sign in and out of visitors and students; receive lunches, books, etc. Volunteer time is 7:30 AM – 9:15 AM or 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM. Days of the week are flexible.
Lunchroom, Lunch Break, Recess, and Afterschool Supervision
Monitor students during lunch periods and while they play outside. Volunteers usually commit one day per month during lunch periods. This job can be done with a partner and involves making sure student’s clean up after lunch. Training will be provided.
Sports Coach
Coach or assist in the coaching of boys and girls basketball, boys and girls volleyball, flag football, annual sports day and track and field meet.
Fundraising
Assist with events and fundraising activities throughout the school year. Whether or not you have experience, your people skills, sales skills, and passion for the value of Catholic education for inner city children can be put to good use. Contact our school office today!
After School Tutor
Helping children K–8 with various subjects and homework.
Copy Machine
Copy materials. Volunteers commit one day a month in the afternoons.
Parent Envelopes
Assist with writing, assembling, distribution of parent envelopes every Wednesday.
Donate Goods
Donate classroom supplies, notebooks, copy paper and other items needed for the smooth operation of the school and also earn parent hours.
