Karla Gordy Bristol

Karla Gordy Bristol will be the celebrity MC at the upcoming “Icons of the Inner City Banquet” (Sept 26) to benefit Holy Name of Jesus School​. Karla was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised from the age of six in Beverly Hills, California. She proudly carries both her parents’ last names. Her mother is Iris Gordy, a former Motown Records vice president & executive producer and her father is the late Johnny Bristol, Grammy nominated legendary songwriter, producer, and singer. Karla is the great-niece of Motown founder Berry Gordy.
