Joshua Lavergne, Holy Name of Jesus School BRUINS boys’ basketball team center has been accepted to Loyola High School with scholarship awards totaling $13,500
“Holy Name of Jesus School has taught me a lot. I worked hard to achieve this. All my hard work has paid off,” says Joshua, “I feel really proud of myself.“
Our 2012 graduating class at Holy Name of Jesus School includes 18 of 28 students who have been accepted to Catholic High Schools, 12 of those students have been awarded scholarships, and among our graduates, 8 boys and 3 girls participated in Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) league sports on our basketball and volleyball teams. Our 2012 boys’ basketball team finished in the finals for the second year in a row. We celebrated our student athletes on May 4th at a delightful Sports Banquet and we celebrate our graduation on June 9th.
